Prince – Mechanical Engineer

Treasurer of Tamil Consortium of Victoria, Member for Tamil Heritage Foundation, Member of UN chapter (Australia), Member of Reaction Team (Australia), Secretary of Australia Tamizhargal Welfare Association.

 Prince has a deep passion for Tamil language, he has authored books for kindergarten children, helped establish Tamilar and VSL Tamil Schools. Other interests include reading books, psychology, charity, gardening and self-development.

  • UMA KRITHIKA MURALIDHARAN

Uma – Management Accountant

Founder of Women’s Friendship Group started at 2016, Volunteer at VIRWC & Kingston council.

Uma is highly enthusiastic and she campaigns for causes around women’s health involving yoga and meditation. She also organizes Bollywood sessions filled with fun. She runs holiday camps for school children, Mother’s Day, Diwali & cultural events on behalf of the council.

Jaganaath – Cloud and Security Engineer

Active Member of Autralia Tamilargal Welfare Association Inc. Ex-Club Services Lead in Rotaract club (India), Previously an Educator and Program coordinator in HCL CSR Committee to help organising events for social causes, programs for school students to spread awareness & help in their curriculum.

Jaganaath has been highly active in spreading awareness among school students through the “Child Abuse Awareness Programs” since 2014. He runs fund raising activity every year to pay academic fees of unprivileged but deserving students in India. Other interests include cloud computing and real-time strategy games.

Sridevi – Banking Technology Professional

Joint Treasurer of Australian Tamizhargal Welfare Association.

Sridevi highly believes in the adage “It’s better to give than receive”, be it money, time or knowledge – to bring a smile in someone’s life. She has been an active member and volunteer in several local community groups supporting Education, children, women and new migrants’ welfare.

Melwin – Data Engineer

Member of Vizhuthugal group (A Tamil community group which brings Tamil culture and language to school children through various initiatives, they also host community walk every weekend at Jells park). Melwin enjoys spending his leisure time in his garden reading books

Augustine Paul – Senior Quality Analyst

President of Western Eagles Sports club and member of Australian Tamizhargal group. His hobbies include playing cricket on weekends and reading books.

Natarajan – Head of Enterprises Delivery (Business and Technology Programs & Projects)

He is the Former President and Executive Director of Sudaroli.org.au, a Melbourne based non-profit organization serving Tamizh community in Australia. Organization’s objective is to cherish and nurture the richness of Tamizh language and culture, to ensure it is passed onto the future generations. This community celebrates traditional Deepavali and Pongal and conducts information sessions on varied topics benefiting range of Tamizh communities across Melbourne.

  • SRI SAMY 

Sri – Architect, Mediation and Dispute Resolution Practitioner

Sri Samy was a Vice Chairperson since 2014 on DCAB Board for a period of two years. Sri then became a board member of South East Community Links following the merger of DCAB & SCAAB. Resigning in 2016, she wanted to focus on friends and refugees. Being the founder of Friends and Refugees, she is currently also the volunteer CEO and the Secretary of this organization.

Active member and co-treasurer of Melbourne Tamizhargal, Naam Tamilar Australia. Also, an active member of Australia Tamizhargal Welfare Association.

Ajith loves travelling across the world and contributes in organizing a wide range of social events happening at Melbourne.

Member of Australian Tamizhargal over the last 4 years. Actively volunteered for various fundraising events and support activities for Tamizh community across Victoria.

Has great interest in gardening and is someone who is passionate about self-development. He volunteers in spending time with kids and helps them in building things with Lego blocks.
